DSA were appointed at conception to carry out design, planning works, detailed construction drawings and on-site attendance through to completion. The £1.5 million investment at the school brought a much-needed boost to pupils. The new build project improved the arts and drama provision on offer as well as providing a large common room for sixth form students.
Included in the scheme were specialist art and design rooms, a drama studio, three general teaching rooms and a 150sq m private study area. Measuring over 1,000sq m in extra teaching space, the facilities were aimed at relieving the squashed conditions that students were working in.
