DSA were appointed to complete the detailed design and provide a construction drawing package to refurbish and extend function space at Vedanta – formerly known as Branston Hall. The sensitive extension to a 20th century addition on the side of the Grade II listed Branston Hall provides an enlarged and flexible function space.
The multi-use space is used mainly for keynote speeches/ seminars, meditation/yoga, and call/response singing with an occasional use for weddings. The incorporation of natural light, natural/eco materials, an increased ceiling height and highlighting the views onto the main building and grounds provides a fantastic space.
The revenue generated by venue space was vital to fund the ongoing maintenance and conservation of the existing historic Grade II listed building.
